Unless something miraculous happens in the next 45 minutes or so this baby is not going to show up in the month of October. I guess we’re looking at a November birthday. The kid missed Halloween but I think we can bank on her being here by Thanksgiving!

We had a checkup this morning. The baby is doing fine and so the suggestion was that we keep waiting - which is what we’re doing. Wait wait wait. And then wait some more.
Coral seems to be getting over her cold. B and I are still suffering along - hopefully B will kick her cold soon - I can deal with it.
Today Coral and some other kids came by the office for the annual Halloween gathering (pictures later). Unfortunately, Eva is sick so she and Carter couldn’t make it, but we had a decent turnout otherwise. When they first got here someone asked Coral when her sister was coming and her response was “any day now.”
Later, someone else asked her again and her new response was “any minute now.” Hopefully she’s right!
Still no update on this silly baby. Our family cold seems to be in full force though (B and Coral seem to be having a coughing contest in the other room right now), so maybe it’s best if Reef waits until we get better before she shows up.
We have a previously scheduled doctor’s appointment tomorrow so maybe we’ll know more then… although I doubt it.
We went to the annual neighborhood Halloween parade and this year Coral went as a Fairy Princess. She was very cute. I’m not that into princesses but judging by other girls Coral’s age at the parade it’s a pretty common costume for girls.

Oh, and we still have only one kid. We have a Halloween costume for the second kid but now I’m wondering if we’ll get to use it or not. Hmmm.
Another day, still no baby. Fortunately, B doesn’t look at RankinZoo too often or it would stress her out that I’m counting the days. It doesn’t help that all three of us have come down with a cold - that part is really annoying. There is a lot of coughing, sniffling, and sneezing around the house.
Coral has been helping me out down at the Lab for an interesting event called Startup Weekend.
B has been doing whatever she can to keep her mind off of the fact that she’s still pregnant.
With a Skins game coming up at 4:15pm today I’m assuming labor will get started shortly before that. If not, I think I’m off the hook because there’s no chance we’ll still be baby-less for next weekend’s game (right?!).
