The Rankin Zoo 

First of all, sorry about not posting in forever - I’ll try to get better!

The other day we were heading out to the Falls Church Farmer’s Market. To get there we drive by the building where my new office is going to be. As we went by Coral said, “there’s Daddy’s new office!”

After we walked through the booths at the farmer’s market we were heading over to the play ground and Coral said, “my music class is in this area.” Sure enough, we were walking past the community center.

We played at the playground for a while and the hopped back in the car to head home. A minute later Coral said, “up ahead is the doctor’s office.” That’s right, we were about to pass the pediatrician’s office.

Later that afternoon Coral and I were going to the indoor pool (it has a shallow area where she can stand up) and she basically told me how to get there. She also told me how to get to the other indoor pool where Kirstin takes her.

Finally, at dinner she successfully located four states on her United States Map place mat: Minnesota, Florida, Maine, and Virginia.

This is kind of strange and spooky.

B and I went away for the weekend and left Coral with Kirstin. We flew down to Florida early Saturday morning and came back on Monday afternoon. We had a great time (I’ll put some pictures up soon) and it sounds like Coral had a great time too.

After we picked her up this afternoon we told her how much fun our trip was. We said, “next time we’ll have to bring you with us!”

She said, “Yeah!”

Then she thought for a minute and said, “but won’t I miss Kirstin?”
