Stamp Out Hunger
My brother-in-law writes an interesting blog about how much wasted food there is out there. Today he writes about the NALC Food Drive’s Stamp Out Hunger event.
The basic info is that you leave non-perishable food (in a bag, I presume) by your mailbox this Saturday (May 12th) and your letter carrier will take it to a nearby food bank. Sounds easy enough - and I know we have some non-perishable food that we could do without.

Hey Andy, thanks for spreading the word. I’m glad to hear you’ll be taking part. It looks like they ask folks to put food in a bag and leave it “near their mailbox.”
