Doorknobs
Coral is starting to figure out that you need to turn the doorknob in order to open a door. If she stands on her tippy toes she can reach the doorknobs in our house. So far she’s not able to turn the knob, and even if she could I don’t think she would be able to pull a door open.
Her favorite door to try is the backdoor which leads to “side” - which is Coral’s term for “outside” (or “inside” for that matter). Yesterday morning she was trying the front door - with her usual lack of success. Then she saw me get my keys to go to work - she demanded the keys and held them up to the doorknob, shaking them. I’m sure she’s seen us use keys to open the door before and she figures that her lack of success so far is because she lacks the right key.
Anyway, we’re safe for now but I guess it won’t be much longer until she’s opening doors left and right. We’ll have to figure out how to deal with that.
