Coral seems to be feeling better but she still has a slight temperature and was pretty fussy today. Hopefully tomorrow she’ll be back to her normal self. I’ve posted some random photos of Coral and her cousins so check them out.

Coral seems to be an expert mimic - if she’s in the mood she’ll try to copy everything you do. So far she can reliably copy the following: clicking her tongue, shaking her head, blowing rasberries, waving goodbye, smacking her palm over her mouth as she makes noise, sticking her tongue in and out as she makes noise, and shrugging her shoulders. It’s pretty funny. We’ll have to get some video soon.

Coral went to the doctor and they said she doesn’t have an ear infection but probably has some kind of virus. They didn’t have any great advice but suggested that she would probably be better in a couple of days.

Coral has been a trooper. For the most part she’s been happy and has a decent amount of energy. When the fever goes up she gets a little fussy but fortunately the Tylenol, and now Advil, seem to be helping with the fever.

B reports that Coral is addicted to the Baby Bjorn. She wants to ride around in it all day with B - which is hard to do now that she’s about 20 pounds. When B tries to take Coral out of the Bjorn she fusses. Hopefully, Coral will be feeling better soon and she’ll be back to her normal self!

Coral’s fever started Sunday night and stuck around all day Monday. Monday night it got up to about 103 which is keeping her from day care today.

That means mommy and daddy get to split the day and hang out with Coral. Of course now she’s feeling fine. Here she is hanging out in the pack and play while I try to get some work done. Yeah right.

11:36am Update: Well, Coral woke up from her morning nap and her fever is back up to 101 so I gave her more Advil. We’ll see how she’s doing when B gets home - could be a trip to doctor this afternoon.

2:25pm Update: B is at the doctor’s now with Coral having her checked out. Our theory is an ear infection but who knows. I doubt it’s anything serious but she’s had this fever for a while now so we might as well get it checked out.

We’re on our way to visit with Mimi. But first we’re picking up Aunt Emily and Uncle Jon at the Metro. Then we’re off to Mimi’s for swimming and boating. Should be fun!

We’re going into DC to have dinner with B’s dad and brother - an early Father’s Day!
